Duration: 3 Months for Each Level
Registration: January, May and September

N1 – N3 UMALUSI ACCREDITED AND N4 – N6 QCTO ACCREDITED

N1 Admission Requirements: Grade 9
N4 Admission Requirements: Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science and two relevant technical subjects.

Mathematics, Engineering Science, Electrical Trade Theory, Industrial Electronics.

The language of tuition at NATED Studies South Africa is English. All classes and assessments will be conducted in English. Whenever necessary the lecturers may use a different language in order to assist in the learning process and encourage comprehension.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING N1 – N3

Entry Requirement:

  • For N2: Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science, each with a minimum pass of 40% (Achievement Level 3)
  • For N3: Electrical Engineering N2

  • Mathematics N1, N2, N3
  • Industrial Electronics N1, N2, N3
  • Engineering Science N1, N2, N3
  • Electrical Trade Theory N1, N2
  • Electrotechnics N3

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING N4 – N6

Entry Requirement:

  • For N4: Electrical Engineering N3 or NCV: Electrical Infrastructure Construction Level 4
  • For N5: Electrical Engineering N4
  • For N6: Electrical Engineering N5

Subjects: 

  • Mathematics N4, N5, N6
  • Engineering Science N4
  • Electrotechnics N4, N5, N6
  • Industrial Electronics N4, N5, N6
  • Power Machines N5, N6

Workplace Experience

On completion of N6 learners have to find employment with a registered company that will give them practical training in the place of work to gain the required experience. The N6 certificate can be converted to a Diploma after 24 months of relevant experience.
